What is NSAP?
NSAP provides eligible newcomers with safe, quality, and affordable transitional housing in Toronto while they continue working towards their settlement goals and long-term housing.

How does it work?
Step 1
Talk to your settlement worker
Your settlement worker will discuss the program with you and help determine whether it may be a good fit for your needs and circumstances.
Step 2
Referral to RENEW
If you meet the initial requirements and wish to proceed, your settlement organization will send a referral to RENEW with your consent.
Step 3
Conversation with RENEW
RENEW will meet with you to learn more about your housing needs, income, household, readiness, and any support or accessibility needs.
Step 4
Accommodation matching and viewing
RENEW will meet with you to learn more about your housing needs, income, household, readiness, and any support or accessibility needs.
Step 5
Decision and move-in
RENEW makes the final placement decision. Approved participants will review and sign a program accommodation agreement before moving in.
A referral, interview, viewing, or place on a waiting list does not guarantee accommodation.
